So Albania; if you have been following our Facebook and Instagram you would have heard or read how we raved about this country and how we spent 2 weeks in somewhere that normally takes most people only 3 days to cycle through. It was so worth it.
As with BiH, many people warned us against going to Albania because the people are not friendly, the Albanian gang is notorious as one of Europe’s most dangerous and the infrastructure...

A mini history lesson of what Yugoslavia was. It came into existence after world war 1, and it was a communist regime built up of what we know as Croatia, Bosnia i Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia. However, leading up to and after his death, ethnic ten...

From Paris to Bonn on four wheels
So we have been offline on our blog for a while, some due to being busy and the other due to a non-functioning article writing machine a.k.a. laptop. However, we are back on borrowed time, and a borrowed Laptop.

We like Spain; we really do. The good thing is that Spain gets better and better the longer we travel across the country. We crossed the Portugeuse-Spanish border at the Douro river in a small town called Barca D'alva. We then cycled to Salamanca were we stayed for a few days with Tiene, our Couchsurfing host. We then carried on to Avila, Cercedilla and the capital Madrid.
Madrid was on our minds for a while before arriving. Wh...

As mentioned in previous posts, we have visited 2 schools and a number of organisations/businesses so far talking about our trip and spreading our message, all in Madrid. We have a blog post about us from one of the high schools, Sacred Heart High School, as the school has a blog run by the students, and one of the students interviewed us – as soon as we have access to this blog post we will link it to our post.
Since Madrid we...
